Stitch and Sip with Anne Kable

  • Makers Space 39 Whiteley Street Dunedoo, NSW, 2844 Australia (map)

Thread your own story

and enjoy some slow stitching

More than just pretty, embroidery is an art form, and has been used for centuries for ornamental as well as functional purposes. Rich in texture and colour, it stands out on any surface.

Not so much a workshop, this relaxed gathering is an opportunity to join us for an evening of embroidery and stitching amongst good company. We will share creative inspiration, ideas and expertise while enjoying some food and a beverage of you choice.

Whether you learnt embroidery in primary school (as this maker did) and want to refresh your skills, have always wanted to learn some embroidery skills, or are obsessed with any form of hand stitching, we will welcome you.

We will provide . . .

a warm fire

a light supper

tea and coffee

You will need . . .

your own embroidery or slow stitching project to work on

or

an embroidery sampler kit, available for purchase through Makers Space

your choice of something to sip while we stitch
