More than just pretty, embroidery is an art form, and has been used for centuries for ornamental as well as functional purposes. Rich in texture and colour, it stands out on any surface.

Not so much a workshop, this relaxed gathering is an opportunity to join us for an afternoon of embroidery and stitching amongst good company. We will share creative inspiration, ideas and expertise while enjoying some afternoon tea.

Whether you learnt embroidery in primary school (as this maker did) and want to refresh your skills, have always wanted to learn some embroidery skills, or are obsessed with any form of hand stitching, we will welcome you.

You will need . . .

a pair of scissors

your own embroidery or slow stitching project to work on

This kit includes all materials for one lavender bag (your choice of design), detailed instructions, full scale templates, a stitch guide, DMC embroidery thread and a needle. All you need to bring is a pair of scissors.
