everyday magic

from Denmark to Australia

I’m an everyday magic seeker.

I get excited and amazed by rainbows, sunsets and sunrises, by animals, grass and trees swaying in the wind, the moon and the stars, rocks and sticks, an ant carrying a bee (it actually happened – I got proof), a warm drink, blanket and a fireplace on a cold rainy day, the way rain drops run down the window and I’m always in awe at the shape of a snowflake.

I have always felt a deep connection to nature. I love exploring and using my creativity in various forms.

Growing up on a tiny farm near a small town in Denmark, I always loved picking flowers, rocks, (I had a big collection of rocks, all different shapes and colours, when I was a kid!) drawing and painting. I remember, when my older brother taught me how to draw a proper farmhouse, I was so proud!

I am always taking photos of anything and everything and collecting the oddest things. Nothing gets thrown out, because what if I one day need exactly that!

I'm a florist by trade, finished my apprenticeship in Denmark in 2014, came to Australia in October 2015 and now situated in beautiful Dunedoo working as a floristry teacher for TAFE NSW.
